Waking up with your bonnet on the floor is always discouraging. There really isn’t a point in wearing a bonnet if it ends up falling off. To ensure it doesn’t fall off, you need to consider two factors: 1) your hairstyle underneath, and 2) the type of bonnet you use.
Hairstyle underneath
Start by tying your hair in a loose pineapple/bun. In saying this, don’t make it too loose. If it is too loose then your hair will push against your bonnet. This causes strain against your bonnet and it ca ed up be pushed off due to the weight of your hair.
Wrong size
Most stores take a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach (even though it really doesn’t). Other stores will offer small, medium and large. Although size options do help, it’s hard to determine which category you’d fall in. This is why it’s important to ensure you opt for an adjustable bonnet.
